'Herbalife (HLF)' under investigation for (possible) corruption in China, but what about 'HLF' corruption in TrumpLand?

'Herbalife' shares have again begun to fall on today's disclosure that the counterfeit direct selling company is under SEC investigation into possible corruption in China.

Of course 'Herbalife's' main (effectively-valueless) share holder, Carl Icahn, is going to be Donald Trump's 'unofficial adviser on regulatory reform,' so perhaps US law enforcement agents might now get their act together, and investigate this jaw-dropping act of corruption?

I've been looking at Icahn's public statements on HLF and there is no real substance to anything he has said. He's just offered a blanket dissmissal of Bill Ackman's detailed explantion of HLF as a pyramid scam.

    1. Yes, Icahn (a man who went to the same school as Bernie Madoff) suddenly appeared on the 'Herbalife' scene soon after Ackman made his challenge to 'Herbalife' in Dec. 2012. Since that time, Icahn has continued to attack Ackman personally and reflect 'Herbalife's' own reality-inverting propaganda.

Icahn's influence on Wall. St. is so great that all he had to do initially, was buy effectively-valueless 'Herbalife' shares for them to rise in price.

Icahn is a thoroughly amoral character who, predictably, hasn't even acknowledged the existence of the victims of the 'Herbalife' racket, but then Icahn has millions of green reasons not to.

The term 'conflict of interest' has been widely-used to describe Icahn's appointment as unofficial regulatory reform adviser to President Trump, but this move was clearly designed (amongst other things) to boost the price of effectively-valueless 'Herbalife' shares.

Despite the bullshit expressed by President Trump yesterday in his inauguration speech, the USA remains a de facto kleptocracy.

    1. Romeo Remedio - Please go away and play your puerile game of 'Herbalife' make-believe elsewhere; better still, grow up.
