Hubert Freidl's 'Lyoness Income Opportunity' lie has not been tested and approved!

Various propagandists for, and adherents of, the 'Lyoness income opportunity' lie have continued to contact this Blog insisting that the object of their unquestioning devotion cannot possibly be a scam because 'Lyoness' has been thoroughly tested and approved by a number of independent organizations which have awarded the company 'Quality Certificates.'

In reality, if anyone takes the trouble to research what these impressive-sounding 'Quality Certificates' actually represent in respect of 'Lyoness', he/she will discover that although these documents are quite genuine, they are (in this particular case) a deeply-misleading product, sold (apparently in ignorance of reality) to the abusive bosses of the 'Lyoness' racket, by the employees a highly-lucrative global business which has been cornered by two commercial companies, 'TÜV Rheinland' and 'Quality Austria.'

From its humble origins in 1872, as a small organization based in Cologne which inspected the safety of steam boilers in Germany, TUV Rheinland now employs 12000 people in 360 locations in 62 countries. This one company generates revenues in excess of one billion Euros annually by selling testing services and certificates of conformity/safety/quality, etc., in virtually all types of enterprise and upon many different criteria, including 'the quality of management systems' (whatever that might mean).

However, in all of their profitable activities, companies like TUV Rheinland and Quality Austria (which are themselves regulated by government Depts. and specific legislation in Germany and Austria) do not take any interest in whether or not the corporate structures to which they are selling their impressive-sounding testing and certification services, might be engaged in unlawful enterprises. As was recently pointed out to me by a contrite employee of 'Quality Austria,' provided any business (for example, even a brothel) fulfils the criteria to obtain the particular quality certification it has successfully applied and paid for, we are obliged by law to award it. Before we can take it away, we need to see evidence that our quality certification is being used in an abusive and misleading way, or a judgement would have to be obtained in a court of law proving that the quality-certified business in question, is unlawful.... Unfortunately, we cannot make any judgement ourselves about whether any business is lawful - we are tied up in red tape.

Self-evidently, in the case of the 'Lyoness' racketeers (who have found this particular door to be wide-open and unguarded, allowing them easily to obtain certification from Quality Austria and TÜV Rheinland, but with the hidden objective of committing fraud and obstructing justice), this stated policy of these companies has been naïve to the point of crass stupidity; for, so long as their 'quality certification' remains in place, 'Lyoness' victims (who in the overwhelming majority have not had the slightest clue what this actually represents) can easily be persuaded that 'Lyoness' cannot possibly be a scam because it has been thoroughly tested and approved by independent organizations and awarded 'Quality Certificates'.

Furthermore, although Quality Austria and TÜV Rheinland are subject to their respective governments' certification regulations, this tangle of Germanic red tape is merely a 'Gordian Knot' which might as well not exist, because it does not place either of these certification companies above criminal legislation in their respective countries, or anywhere else for that matter; and it particularly does not place them above the US federal Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organiations Act, 1970. This legislation could be invoked, if employees of Quality Austria or TÜV Rheinland knowingly continue to allow their companies' names and logos to be habitually used to commit fraud and obstruct justice all around the globe. Obviously, it remains a possibility that employees of these companies have previously received unlawful inducements (directly or indirectly) from the 'Lyoness' racketeers, but then, even ostensibly lawful payments which have been made to Quality Austria and TÜV Rheinland by the 'Lyoness' racketeers, must have come from the proceeds of crime.

Olaf Seiche,
Director Business Unit Service Sector/TÜV Rheinland

'Because of voluntarily having promised price benefits reviewed by our experts,
Lyoness has shown that they take transparency for members very seriously. After
extensive examination, the TÜV Rheinland certificate shows that Lyoness met all
requirements regarding compliance with the performance pledge. The company has
made a good investment in the documentation of additional quality – tested and
confirmed by a neutral body.'

Olaf Seiche

'The ISO 9001 certification sets minimum international standards by which the processes and structures of a company can be defined. Quality management at Lyoness was tested by Quality Austria and awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification.'

'As a part of the ISO 9001:2008 certification by Quality Austria, Lyoness was also
certified by IQNet as further confirmation of the quality management.'

'Lyoness Austria GmbH is a member of the business network Leitbetriebe Austria and
thus an innovative and sustainable company aligned for economic success. Leitbetriebe Austria is a red-white-red trade mark which 1,000 distinguished Austrian
companies are allowed to bear.'

Currently, all the above organizations (the names and logos of which, feature prominently in 'Lyoness' propaganda and presentations),  are associated with ongoing, major, racketeering activity.

However, as a result of informed complaints, senior officers of  IQNet, Quality Austria and TÜV Rheinland are finally beginning to confront the reality of the rapidly-growing 'Lyoness' scandal, with a view to withdrawing their certification before being dragged into civil lawsuits, and/or into criminal prosecutions.

Monica Rintersbacher, Managing Director 'Leitbetriebe Austria'

To date, 'Leitbetriebe Austria' remains in total denial of reality; so much so, that if anyone calls to ask Managing Director, Monica Rintersbacher, common-sense questions about why this commercial organization still has 'Lyoness' listed as 'one of Austria's leading companies,' a robot-like attorney called Wolfgang, is immediately called to the phone.

Indeed, I have found that if you try to interrupt Wolfgang, it is programmed to switch itself off.

Meanwhile,  'Leitbetriebe Austria's' own Website is currently being used by the 'Lyoness' racketeers to commit fraud and to obstruct justice all around the globe.
