Yong Myung Mun a.k.a. 'Rev. Sun Myung Moon' was a racketeer.

Given the quantifiable evidence, it's difficult to believe that anyone with an ounce of common-sense could fail to deduce that the so-called 'Rev. Sun Myung Moon' (1920-2012) was a highly-dangerous racketeer who suffered from a form of pathological narcissism and who perverted the traditional 'Christian' religion for the clandestine purpose of human exploitation.

Yong Myung Mun a.k.a. 'Rev. Sun Myung Moon'

'Moon's' given name was Yong Myung Mun. He was born to a Christian (Presbyterian) family in the village of Sangsa in (Japanese-occupied) Northern Korea.
Easter 1935, Mun (aged just 16 years) apparently began steadfastly pretending to have had a vision of Jesus who said: 'continue my work and bring Peace on Earth'
During WWII, Mun studied engineering in Tokyo, graduating in 1943.
Mun returned home aged 19 and married.
After WWII and the end of Japanese rule, Mun and his new family moved South to Seoul. They became adherents of a 'Presbyterian Church' with a 'pastor' who pretended that Korea was the new Israel from whence a new Messiah (a Holy King anointed by God) would arise.
In 1946, Mun abandoned his family. Excommunicated from his 'Presbyterian Church,' he returned North where he too began to pretend that Korea was the New Israel. However, Mun now claimed to be the New Messiah. This justified his having sex with his young female followers.
In 1948, the communist regime apparently charged Mun with preaching a perverted messianic message. He was sentenced to five years in a labour camp. An American bombing raid reputedly allowed Mun to escape to the South.
The first two adherents of the 'Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity' a.k.a. 'HSA -UWC' a.k.a the 'Unification Church.'
In 1954 Mun, who now styled himself as the 'Rev. Sun Myung Moon,'  instigated the 'Unification Church' in a small rented house in Seoul. Belief in Mun's unoriginal fairy story began to spread like a virus.

Mun sent his first deluded recruiters to America in 1959-1960. At the same time, he married Hak Ja Han.

Mun emigrated to the USA in 1972 where his 'freedom of religion anti-communist' pronouncements were cleverly tailored to fit the spirit of the times. He quickly infiltrated the Republican party. Huge donations allowed him to appear at major rallies. During the Watergate scandal, Mun fasted on the steps of the Capitol praying to God that his friend, President Nixon, would not be impeached.
Mun's clandestine criminal activities first surfaced in 1978, in what became known as the 'Koreagate' bribery scandal.  The Congressional Committee on International Organisations then published a shocking report describing the so-called 'Moon Church,' as:
'... a multinational corporation … a paramilitary organisation … and a tightly disciplined international political party.... Among its goals is the establishment of a worldwide government in which the separation of church and state would be abolished, and which would be governed by Moon and his followers.'
The Congressional Committee recommended further investigation, but this was mysteriously abandoned when Ronald Reagan became US President in 1980.

Based in America and S. Korea, Mun expanded his dissimulated global racket under the Reagan administration. He was now acting in association with two Japanese gangsters, Yoshio Kodama and Ryoichi Sasakawa, whom the US government of occupation had once imprisoned as war criminals. Kodama was a notorious Yakuza boss and instigator of perverted secret societies. He amassed millions of dollars by looting in occupied Manchuria during WWII, and died in 1984 facing charges concerning the Japanese Lockheed bribery scandal. Sasakawa (who died in 1995) also acquired a fortune during WWII. Sasakawa openly boasted of being 'the world's richest fascist.' During the 1970s, he controlled the multi- billions dollars annual receipts from gambling on Japanese powerboat racing.

During the late 1970s and 80s, what were popularly known as the 'Moonies' became notorious for staging mass-arranged-marriages and for deceiving young recruits into attending camps where they were subjected (without their fully-informed consent) to co-ordinated devious techniques of social, psychological and physical persuasion. Classically, brainwashed 'Moonies' insisted that they had not been brainwashed, but, all the same, they abandoned their previous reality, including their 'negative' friends and families, to exist on meagre rations and to slave up to 16-hours per day for their  'Perfect Father.'

Mun was imprisoned for 18 months in the USA in 1982 for tax evasion and conspiracy. However, when you consider Mun's history of criminal association, perverted, anti-Semitic, Christian/Dominionist teaching, combined with continual accusations against him of sexual exploitation, it almost beggars belief that he was allowed to buy his way into traditional culture in the USA, Japan and the UK, where he freely-associated with a flock of unquestioning political, and religious, leaders and academics (notably Professor Eileeen Barker of the London School of Economics who produced a stream of convenient books and articles in which she insisted that religious 'apostates' cannot be trusted and that 'brainwashing' is an unproven theory).

In the years after Mun's release (he served just 13 months), he managed to meet with or appear to acquire the support of Gerald Ford, George Bush, Margaret Thatcher, Edward Heath, Strom Thurmond, Jesse Helms, William Fulbright, Orrin Hatch, Caspar Weinberger, Alexander Haig, William Bennett, Ralph Reed and Jerry Falwell. However, stories began to appear that Mun was an agent of the Korean CIA, and numerous civil lawsuits (brought by dissociated and destitute 'Moonie' victims, and their families), began to be filed around the world. Mun then lost a high-profile libel suit against the Daily Mail in the UK. By the 90s (faced with a Democrat-controlled White House), Mun began pretending that his Church had closed.

In reality, Mun's 'Church' was merely a front which enabled him, and his criminal associates, to establish a mystifying labyrinth comprising hundreds of corporate structures pursuing lawful, and/or unlawful, activities, designed to prevent, and/or divert, investigation and isolate its beneficiaries from liability.

  • a car plant in China
  • a titanium mine,
  • the Glock weapons factory
  • heavy industrial holdings in S. Korea
  • extensive land holdings in South America
  • a luxury  hotel in New York
  • a fishery in Alaska.
  • a golf course in California
  • a computer company in Japan
  • a university in New England;
  • newspapers in Korea, Argentina and Japan, and the 'Washington Times,' which Mun created in 1982
  • a symphony orchestra and ballet company
  • a cable television network
  • the UPI press agency
  • a New York publishing company
  • 'Insight Magazine'
  • numerous restaurants and jewellery businesses.

The leadership, and constituent corporate structures, of this labyrinth continue to change, but the criminogenic edifice built by the late Yong Myung Mun, still exists today.

One particularly disturbing aspect of Mun's clandestine criminal objectives (which has apparently never been investigated  by the mainstream media), concerns the 'Moonie' organization's presence in a counterfeit Corporate structure legally- registered as a 'charity' in Switzerland, but which was used as a Trojan Horse by Colonel Gaddafi's murderous regime to infiltrate prestigious academic institutions internationally (including Harvard University and the London School of Economics) in an attempt to corrupt government advisers and subvert democracy.
