  1. What looks like a duck walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, generally is a duck. Al Jazeera writers have found that MLMs look like a cults sound like a cults and produce the same results as a cults.

  2. Anonymous - It would be equally true to say that so-called 'MLM' income opportunities' look like pyramid shemes, sound like pyramid schemes and produce the same results as pyramid schemes.

    Perhaps, it would be more appropriate to say that what looks like a blame-the-victim cultic racket, sounds like a blame-the-victim cultic racket and produces the same results as a blame-the-victim cultic racket, is a blame-the-victim cultic racket, unless you are an intellectually-castrated 'MLM' core-adherent, and then it's only whatever your 'leaders' tell you it is.
